Registration Key (doesn't work)

My reg key hasn't been working for a while. Tried it on a fresh install, all it does is say is that it has successfully completed the operation and when I start soldat it really isn't registered. I purchased it legally and never gave it to anyone. I've sent a pm or two to Michal about this and an email but never received an answer. Also tried using the reg.exe program that someone suggested with my key. Doesn't work either. What now? :(

Yes, I have the same problem. What's worse, it gives me an error everytime I click somewhere on the screen, such as a button or something. This is the first time I buy a license over the internet and this is what I get. It's weird. I hope this gets solved ASAP.

meandor, have you shared your key or have you got a shared key?  if you have it may have been banned.

Vampir, what you need to do is goto setup, tick 640x480, turn to 16 bit, off with antialiasing and dithering, then turn on video compatibility. this is due to errors with older video cards.

okay, now are you using winxp?

if so click start, run, type in 'regedit' (without quotes), press enter
navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Soldat and see if the key exists in the right pane, if so then it should work.
Other than that I don't know what to check/do.

Yes, I am. Checked. It's there. Tried removing it and using the key again. No use :>

People tend to fix problems that cost money. Unless it's Microsoft Tech Support.


Anyway, just wait a bit and they'll have it resolved. I believe someone somewhere stated the problems w/ regging were related with the server problems 1.4 has had as well. Mebbe after the patch it'll work.

i'm using vista and i've been trying to get my reg key to work from the PC that runs xp, but no dice.

Thankfully not.

edit - er, wait a minute; I have two pc's in different locations (read: different IPs), and I use the code for both. I suppose that could've done it?
