Possible cheating kick: the cause, and workaround
« on: April 30, 2007, 12:30:21 am »
If you have the intro enabled, joining a server with weapons disabled will cause you to be detected as cheating and ban you for 24 hours. To workaround this, disable the intro. It's possible this may also happen if you playback a demo, or if you are on a server and choose a weapon, then join a new server with disabled weapons, but this hasn't been tested yet.

I have unbanned everyone who got banned from this from my climb server and also scripted a small fix to prevent it happening anyway.

NOTE: This also happens if you join a server with normal weapons and then join a server with socom disabled!

BattlEye doesn't detect anything yet I think, gotta wait for the Sable to update it.
