I beg to differ. People usually make a clan with their mates, because they enjoy playing with each other. A good clan plays clanwars often, on a daily basis, therefore improving the clan member's skill level with each match. IRC clanners are far beyond the humble pub player, and have much more fun with the game aswell: we play challanging matches with people on our skill level, and victory tastes sweet if we fought for it.

Clan is team. It's more funny play with team against other teams than play just you alone against others alone. It's clan, you know each other how they play so you'll play better and better. There is good teamwork. You are speaking on TeamSpeak. It's best way how to play soldat. I play only CTF.  And I don't play it on publics.

If there is playing two very good clans against each other. It's really nice match and it's very very very interesting. Just CTF is best. That's all. Clans are in everygame. Just if you play Football, you like play 1v1? or 1v1v1v1v1? Or 11v11 ? I think 11v11. Same is clans.

I'm in a clan as I find scrims and participating in leagues and whatnot much more enjoyable than just playing in public servers, as well as basically everything Demonic said in his first post.
