I am MAD NOW!!!

Hello, I have a problem that needs to be fixed NOW:

On the last version of Soldat that I had, I had been randomly given a mod from some person name Coyote. The mods name was: Coyote's Laser X aimbot and I didn't want to get banned from the game for this.

So I downloaded the new version of Soldat after deleting the first one. When i went to the lobby of the new version of the game, it gave me an error saying:  Access violation at address 00511BB5 in module 'Soldat.exe'. Write of address 00000021.

I have no idea what that means and that comes up when I go to open my own game. What should I do? ??? ??? ???

I had that problem when I first installed.
A quick re-install seemed to remedy it.

1) Don't ever use any hacks
2) try turning on compatbility mode in soldat.ini or the GUI setup.exe
3) Read threads in http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?board=3.0 that have the same problem as you.

Didn't you read everything, I DIDN'T USE THEM.  This random mod appeared on my computer one day after I came home and I had no idea how.

Since he says "On the last version of Soldat that I had" (1.3.1, probably), it could be that 1.3.1 hack that auto-installs in some way or another, no?

Uninstalling Soldat, deleting the remaining Soldat files and then reinstalling it should hopefully do it unless it contained other malicious code apart from the aimbot. And, as said already, try video compability (Soldat Setup -> More -> Video compability).

Ok well...

Did you install Soldat 1.4.0 over an existing 1.3.1? If so, you need to delete a file called d3d8.dll in your Soldat folder.

As for the problem at hand; completely remove Soldat, including the folder where it's installed, reinstall, and restart. Let us know how that goes.
