How do I turn off weapon/flag flashing

I like in realistic mode and TW_ and I see that weapons/flag flashing before they disappear (like in arcade games) detract from the gameplay experience. How do I turn them off?

You can't, as far as I know. Might be worth suggesting as a new feature.

Might be a good idea to suggest a way to reduce the flashing/blinking duration too... :/

The flashing is to strong and annoying IMO. Maybe it could flash between 50% and 100% transparency not between 0 and 100%.

It's just your personal opinion based on what you are expecting from the game, not an absolute property of weapon flashing. I don't want weapons/flag to flash, because it doesn't fit the aesthetics of sacrificial war in trenches, and realistic mode.

IMO flash duration should be customisable too...

That's a pretty good idea (provided there's a way to do it.)
Anyway blinking duration is indeed too long.
