hmm I miss a little more detailed description of what exactly this program does. It seems like a software for packing maps along with the needed scenery tho, and it looks pretty good :)
alot of nice options

Finally! Nice new version!
I've tested it and so far it seems to be bug free!
The manual is very nicely done too.
The "don't pack unused scenery option" is a great yet essential feature, good addition.

The only downward I found is the smooth polygons feature on the map preview which uses so much cpu for a useless rendering (except for screenshots, okay I admit it). Also, you should add an option to disable the blury effect when moving the map overview too.

A small thing though: the maps listed are not the maps in my current Soldat folder, but an older Soldat directory. Why is that?

Great job rr, as expected from you this is pure win!

Well, big thx :D
GluLm: I'll add 'Disable blur effect' button in next version. About the path issue: SMP searches for Soldat directory automatically and if path is wrong you are able to change it in settings.ini file; in next version it will be available to change directly from settings tab. That thing usually happens if someone got two Soldats installed once.

I'll wait with releasing new version until some new ideas will come.

Atm I consider if I'm able to do realistic map appearance simulation = textured polys and sceneries. While realistic polys are easy to make, sceneries are much harder because SMP uses OpenGL instead of DirectX. DirectX has very easy to use texture loading which is not present in OpenGL unfortunately. So if I want to do sceneries viewing, I have to write my own texture loader or find some in internet (I'm rather not going to download huge DirectX SDK).

[edit] Hey! It's possible, I'll do it! :D

Thought you'd post here again. Nice map packer. I haven't heard of it yet, which is amazing. I'll download it when I have my laptop. Right now, everything is shit on this computer.

A small problem i found is that when the preview map is zoomed, when you use the mouse to move the map it moves really fast. I guess a simple multiplication would solve that.

Good job man. are you working on a new release. i just don't love the beta versions. i just want to have a stable. THIS APP RULEZZZZZZZZZZZZ  :D.

Can you please make a program that just can preview the map like in this program. but only with a bigger view. i beg you.  :D. I'm dying to get/create an app like that.

I got an idea maybe. Ad a .diz info file to the archive. so that comment is viewable in winrar itself and outside winrar in the properties window

It's rather final version. However, it's no longer beta.

Nice program
I tried to pack my mappack with it, just over 500 maps. What ive noticed is that its slower than soldat MPA. Also it said 'Step 3/3 packing files' even after the pack was completed (i tested it with winrar and there were no errors). I couldnt close the popup without closing the entire program through process management. Later i found out the scenery and texture folder was still in the TMP folder, which is wrong i guess.

previewing maps is great though, i always used SMP for that and with this version its even better.

Some features that Id like:
- Generate missing files list
- Generate map error list (filename too long, map not compiled, no alpha/bravo/flag spawns, scenery/polygon limit exceeded)
