Ok we recently got a server in the UK but we have a few problems.

Ip: 81.156.70.186
Port: 23073

Problem Number 1:
How do we get Battleeye for it?

Problem Number 2: I have ARSSE but when i enter the ip, port and admin pass it says Connection Failed?

At The moment these are the only problems. If you can help us it would be greatly appreciated .

Hi,

BattlEye: (hence the name btw, the developer, $able, doesn't like BattleEye

)
Open Soldat.ini file and check if BattlEye_Anti_Cheat is set to 1. If it's set to 1, BattlEye is turned on, 0 means it's turned off.

ARSSE:
There are a few things I need to know in order to solve the ARSSE problem:
1) Are you behind a router? (What's your local IP address?)
2) Are you sure the Soldat server is still running when connecting to it via ARSSE?
If you're behind a router you need to open these ports:
23073 (UPD for game and TCP for admin), 23083 (for fileserver) and 23196 (UDP for ASE).

1) yes Im use a router and my ip is 71.61.230.137

2) yes im sure the server is running when i try to loggon to ARSSE
and about opening those ports..how would I do that.

A new problem came...we set a password and the password box is checked...but you can still enter server without it

Go to www.portforward.com that's what I used to pen the ports for the server:)

looks like it is hosted from home, the rDNS of the IP is host81-156-70-186.range81-156.btcentralplus.com

squakingcow has 2 cores and hes usin on to make a dedicated server i live in the USA so i dont host it its dedicated tho..so it shouldnt be treated any different should it?

As has been mentioned earlier, 23073 TCP needs to be forwarded in order to connect with ARSSE.

ok...well i opened those ports...now we realize that isnt the problem... we had the server be tested here http://server1.enesce.com/ptest.php and the only test it Did Not pass was Remote Administration... anyone know why?

Don't use the "shitty" client dedicated server that comes with Soldat.exe, download the real standalone one - it's much better and has BE enabled by default.

I think it doesn't work with the client server.

As I said, use the real dedicated server and set Admin_Password in soldat.ini.

I have, It's a dedicated server made by modding the .ini and it has an admin pass.......

1. Download Dedicated Server 2.6.0 (not the one that comes with soldat) DOWNLOAD

2. Forward the ports mentioned above.

3. Edit soldat.ini from the folder where you installed the dedicated server and set Admin_Password to something you want (as mentioned). If that's not set you won't be able to login from ARSSE.

4. Get ARSSE and login.

That should be enough I think. Just in case make sure there isn't any firewall blocking the port. Other than that it should work.
