PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WORK ON THE MOD WILL START SOON!

Henito Kisou and I are exploring the possibilty of creating a "Ultimate Zombie Mod" Titled "Lazarus Project"

 it would be cool if there are several variants of weapons with different .ini individually suited to a certain gamestyle, ie: 1 where weapons are powerful and biased to the players side but there are many zombies, 1 where strategy needs to be used, nobody will survive without teamwork.

It will make playing zombie games more intense and exciting, while also providing an awesome weapon mod for people who don't play zombie games that often...

Possible Weapon Packs: Street Guns (Typical Weapons), Military, Special Forces(Tactical/futuristic), Bio-weapons (Zombie + Living weapons) ... maybe more... Hopefully all with specialised .ini for differnt game types, ie Realistic, Strategic and normal.

All aspects except guns will be "Zombiefied"

Need Ideas for Weaponry  :D

Henito is working on the weps at the moment, Acid Rifle, Anti-virus injector and a grenade launcher.

This mod will possibly be released in packs, to offer choice to the people.

Suggestions are welcome.

If you want I can make that full mod, but I dont promise about maps, I have few ideas about gosteks and bio-chemical zombie weapons or similiar standard, enhanced weaponry, hard part will be sounds, I dont have any kind of them.

ok, i'm very busy at the moment... so i'll only be able to start this mod later... but in the meanwhile it would be awesome if you started posting up some concepts and examples of guns you think would work.

Henito, you're an awesome mod maker... maybe we can do a colaboration? A combonation of ideas, weaponry and skills... and we may have a awesome mod soon.

Henito, have you ever played Prey?

So if anyone has ideas what would make a mod like this awesome just say.

Biochemical would only loosely apply to the acid sprayer.  Though, every weapon except for the acid sprayer and leech gun is organic, so I see what you mean.  Living weapons...and grenades. >_>

I thought about super fast bullets(may be invisible or not), slower reloads so yu should make every shot count. I plan on making this in realistic, with modded recoil settings. Right now I need some ideas about weapons.

naw I think that the styles would be way to different. I haven't maybe any graphics tho but thats not a big problem. My main concern is to balanc the weapons properly.

maybe I'll do a futuristic mod that could be played with mutants or something:D

Yes, I thinking about half-organic, living weapons, but not only. From some reasons all my guns always are little or more futuristic, but I try modern and  experimental weapons.

Another weapon, Antivirus Injector, this can be deadly for zombies and take them damage, but If you use this at not infected, living human, you will kill him, and later, he get revive as zombie (blue liquid thing is inactive, weak and modified virus, who attack another zombie virus, but when not found any of them, do it same work as regular zombie virus)...


Btw sorry, if weapons are too small, this is remains after NN mod, actual similiar style as NN (shading), but more Beast (details).

As you want, I can do complete mod by me, but If you like mod-teams idea, I say yes.
Next weapon will be Composite Grenade Launcher and something new in zombie weaponry.

I moved Antivirus Injector to 8 (Barret) slot (all guns are always at 1st page), I modify Acid Rifle design to better and 60x18 scale later.

Btw, I dont want story, where's secret laboratory, agency doing military experiments, this must have different storyline than Resident Evil scheme or stereotypical House of the Dead, Evil Dead too. This can be complete new theme, something fresh in zombie genre.
Possible names:
Lazarus Project or Lazarus Experiment ;)       (about reviving, researches to immortality code, engine, indefinitely living etc)
Moira Project           (Mankind tried control their destiny, but some things get failed this project with unimaginable consequences)           
Thanatos Project     (about winning with death, trying to inverse living process to living after dead, all basic at natural elements of bio-chemical or genetics)
Proteus Project       (about morphoidable creatures, trying to recreate perfect race and species without of destructive deficiencies)

Advantages
+Long range
+Powerful

Disadvantages
-Long reload time
-Low ammo amount


I added Dispel Handgun and Coma Chainsaw, next will be some kind of long knife and Rocket Launcher or maybe Machinegun.

Ok, I did half of weaponset, new are Plasmagun and Tactical Knife.
Next weapons will be Machinegun, Shotgun and Rocket Launcher.

Make more oval, rounded elements on edges and creases, but not too much if you dont want to erase authorities of the weapon.
Btw, I making 14 weapons, but you can make 7 for this, and we can mix weapons, my and yours, other can be moved to addons/expansion packs.

all have our style,  and thats yours, you can upgrade it, and henito can say how make the guns better liek when i said to you some tricks and i will say more, but you cant copy the same style (i think)

Maybe, my guns have parts more wider? Also I using specific scale, see my rocket launcher, tactical knife, dispel handgun and other guns like griever. Acid Rifle is little bigger than Handgun, this will be visible in game (weapons-gfx), Griever, Antivirus Injector and Coma Chainsaw have similiar height, but  different length, Rocket Launcher have similiar as upcoming shotgun size in game or at interface
Btw, I plaining choose first, default set of weapons, by me and you, what you think, which weapons can be inside set? Post in similiar structure, 1, 2, 3 etc.

My props:
2 Auto Assault Pistol
3 Drelov-23MKII

5 Skarab
6 Avenger
Hmmm, still  yours 3 weapons to add, but I dont known which... just tell me something about that.
Dont forget about size,  not bigger than 60x18, Drelov little overlap Griever, but not too big, also perfect for Ak, because AAP is best for MP5 in lenght.
Also, in mod idea, best if all the aspects except weapons will be repainted to Zombies (almost complete zombified mod theme). Everyone, who want zombie or living weapons can get them later

Oh well, I was lazy with that gun... and it was more of a edited gun with new parts and changes, I will make make a better replacement... it was my attempt to make a gun more in Henito Kisou's style.

Attached new Avenger, similar to other, but my own.

For maps I plaining two single player map:

---1 Exploration, Adventure style - just go to destination point, but very hard, puzzle, trenchwar and climbing elements.

---2 Quest, Mission style - running with carried flag into base, flag can be in three random place at map with food as Market, medicines as Hospital, with weapons as armoury

Few smaller map done in "protect your castle from zombie attack" also in "invasion survival style", where at small map you must survive with indefinitely hordes of zombies, so I need very much custom sceneries in horror, futuristic and zombies, medical thriller style, first I try make only sceneries, later make complete maps.

This is by me and Temp3st project, but others can make some additions... just post some samples and tell what part of mod you want to make.

I think, this can be Steyr, Ak-74 or Minigun replacement.

Now, I just making various graphics, guns, sceneries, but real modding will  be started since upcoming wednesday.
I didn't put weapons into config because I want see, how weapons works done in different style at weapon-menu.
Btw, Temp3st, do you can make Shriner Plasma Pistol a little bigger? Or tell me which slots from weapon-menu you want for your guns. We have time for choose, but theoretical... or you additionaly make another guns for another slots.

Nice gun, I think we might add it, if you eant... make a download pack with compoleted weps and I will check them...

Henito, I think quite a few of the weps are way too big, must I also resize mine?

Just a little, few pixels in heights, my guns are big, but I can resize only Griever Machinegun, Grenade Launcher and Antivirus Injector or maybe a little Chainsaw, just tell me and I resize them.

I did few player and bonuses sounds, all in zombie theme, without omg special effects, but some of them are really funny. :P

Ok, I resized Griever and Injector, that's how looking from now:

Btw, make chainsaw longer and weapon for Minigun 0 slot.
From comparision screens you can see, how to improve your guns to better (shading, details, contrast, color saturation, outlines) ;)
High bullet speed for RPG to prevent rocket-rotating.
