Map is now hosted by SML.

Roofs are really made mostly of ice polygons to prevent too much camping on them. According to my recent expirience sitting on the roof isn't easy...  ;D

And that's what I don't like with it. The roofs should be normal.

My computer is nothing extraordinary : it's a 3 ghz Pentium with a gig of ram and a recent video card. Lots of room for pictures, family videos, the like. And it's pretty fun playing Soldat with :).

But despite my best efforts, it crawls at seven or eight FPS on your maps :D. So congrats VTT, you've made possibly the most beautiful unplayable map ever :). It is the most amazing map I've ever laid eyes on.

On a side note, if that was you I was facing on eC's trenchwars, you need to improve your play a little too :D.

That's almost....poor. My computer has 222 Mb Ram and 2.80 Ghz. And none of the maps lag.

After playing it for a while i realize that most important problem is the size of houses... They are too small. Usually everyone inside  die from a single nade. And also it's way too easy to jump on the roof.
And i forgot to improve polygon structure...  :-[

any reply like i've got low fps will be ignored...  :P

Alright, this seemed like an excellent map to me.
I'm using it for the new SoldatPage Trenchwar server (Topic).
I also want to upload it to SoldatPage, but I want your permission for it first.

The gameplay is better than it seems by looking at the layout. Open up the map and play it online, you'll see that it's pretty balanced and fun.

Grtz, DePhille

I get over 100 fps on his maps.... and VTT you saw rush/saw suicide a lot xD.

/* ontopic this map is great, its artsy without being well...uber artsy *shrugs*. Its got good gameplay, no roof camping, which owns, and all weapons have a home here. 9/10 <3.
EDIT: I forgot, theres a few things I dont like, a big example is the ability to literally snipe through a few buildings and kill the people trying to camp in there, which, sometimes, is the only way the team can survive and get kills. I downgraded it by 1 point b/c of this xD.

Oh geeze, I didn't make that thread to say, "Hay people make/comment map stuff 'cause pitty party lul." I just wanted to see if people still thought mapping was worth their time (sorry if I'm just being redundant) :(

Anyway, I'm very glad you fixed it, because while this was a lovely map, it felt somewhat clunky and unplayable. The water is quite lovely! and I very much like the new bridges.
