Team Chat
« on: June 01, 2007, 04:50:51 pm »
Just f*cking remove the text above players who talk in the f*cking team, its so f*cking annoying if spectators and other f*cking people see what i said in teamchat above my ugly head all the f*cking time, F*CK.

PS: Didnt found any search matches.

no

It's supposed to simulate actually shouting out the words, so that anyone around can hear.

I guess on this logic we should get rid of jet packs, cause NOOOOOOOOOO OTHER GAME has jetpacks.

Ow, yea we always whisper.

actuallly I think the time it is up is dependant on how long it is, if I type '.' it goes away really fast but if I type something long it stays for a while

I'm pretty sure it doesn't apear over your head if you type some extremely long.  So if you need something to say, privately, just add a bunch of .................. after it or something.

I do this all the time. I always have time to write two sentences.

I support...

When player talk to everybody, ok that's fine. But when the "Team Chat" it should be invisible for Spec and enemies, so readable (funny word^^) for team.

Or if you are really that complainy, just make '.' an alt key and hit it after every message. thataway it will flash your real message over your head and then . will show up.

Agreed. When I die, I usually delay sending intelligence to my teammates until I respawn for fear that the enemy will see it and take advantage. When people have to resort to silly tricks to prevent something like this, that proves a fix is needed.

Yeah, I think that talking simulates shouting --BUT-- team speak simulates using a walkie talkie so that the enemy can't hear. It defeats the purpose if the enemy can read it anyway.

But then again, anyone with a swearing problem should never be supported.......

what are you saying thats so important

they probably know that their efc is low despite you shouting it everywhere
99% of the time the other team members won't even bother reading what you say

Oh I sometimes like picking up a small bit of text from a dead and trying to figure out what they are talking about. One of the smaller joys of soldat, neh?
