Just today I've started having some problems with desktop pop-ups. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I downloaded and tried to open a keygen (I know..) for the program PhotoMatix. Upon opening, AVG reared it's ugly head with a detected virus. I healed it and deleted the Keygen. Then the pop-ups started and I have no ****ing idea how to get rid of them. Ad-Aware and Spybot didn't help and so far AVG hasn't detected any viruses and I don't think it will. This is what I get:It's obviously not really a windows message because up to now when I've clicked on the icon it has taken me to a few dodgy sites, such as:Entertainpage – NSFWReally-Sex-Teen – This site tries to download an .exe when you visit it.Tramadolphentermine – This (automatically?) downloads a file when you visit it (So far AVG has picked it up and deleted it)ThesecuritypageThesecuritypage #2Thesecuritypage #3 Any suggestions? I'd appreciate any help I can get.
I think you should get Hijack This(Google it)And send the log to www.afterdawn.com
Thank you people, I appreciate your help, but I just did another Spybot scan and it found a running process that it had to delete on start-up. That seems to have fixed it!Wahay.
