So this fellow, 'SiN: GAMEOVER' or something, was in Avarax's server yelling about how people are noob's and how we're lucky his pings off, this and that. Anytime he killed someone they were 'owned', anytime he was killed he had some kind of a complaint about it.

What is with people who get inflated egos on this game? It's... a bloody free computer game, for God's sake. The man starts bragging how he's an established name and I'm apparently a nobody? I'm well-known enough for my liking on Soldat, and the best part about that is at least I'm fun to play with, and don't bitch about things. The most you'll ever hear me complain about is lag, and usually it's me complaining about my own, not using it as an excuse for dying.

To keep this as a bit of a 'moments' topic and not just a rant, I guess I should ask... it's obvious you have, but has there been anyone in particular that any of you have ran into on servers, who have REALLY unneccesary egos? Or even people you thought would at least be fairly cool, but turned out to be jackasses?

I've heard GAMEOVER's name tossed around on the servers from time to time, but I never imagined he'd be such a, well... such an undeniable idiot.

Valorman: I agree... sometimes, people mistake some of the easiest shots for "owned" shots. Honestly, I was always under the impression that "owning" someone implied consistantly beating them... not killing them once and shouting your own praises to the rest of the server.

I hate people who have this kind of attitude, it pisses me off the most when people yell 'OWNED!' every time they kill. But you gotta deal with it, it's not just soldat. Any game out there will be full of these kinds of people.

Yeah, you find these people in all games. Luckily the only server I play on Game Arena 2 doesnt have these people. But sadly it will have the occasional hacker. Like theres these two guys who join charlie and delta on inf.

OFF TOPIC: I actually don't find many hackers on the ga servers anymore. Ga2 is my favourite and I haven't seen a hacker since 1.4 came out. What's your in-game nick Scrooge?

I got ping kicked though, my connection was acting up today. I actually told him in the server when he was complaining that the server lagged, that he and I both had the highest pings, so it was probably our connections that were causing the hits not to register. In response, he called me a noob, but later admitted his connection was crappy too by saying we were lucky it was.

I think you met an imposter/douchebag, When I played with/on a server with gameover (2-3 times) he wasn't very much like that, he didn't say anything but taunts, and they were either tactical or "G A M E O V E R" (at the end of the round)
