Shoot thro' and deadly too
« on: May 13, 2007, 01:13:41 pm »
So, i'm planing a "kinda-like-3-D-map", in which action would take place on platforms. Players would shoot throught them to kill enemies, but if somebody would fall from one of them, he would be dead, to prevent jumping from one platform to another. Here's how it would look like (Sorry, i had to do it like this because IS doesn't work ;/):

                      Player 1

                               Player 2

Is there any way to do this?

I don't think so at the moment.
I think someone suggested this (and I support):
Where you have 2 poly dropdowns.
1 would have hurts, lava, regen
2 would have collide, no collide, blah balh
and you could pick both.

Did that make sense or should I reword?

Do you mean that somebody suggested option to make double pollys? Well, then i get it... well, i will try to do it somehow with very thin stripes of polys.

nonono
what I mean is that you would have 2 poly property dropdown menus, and you could select something from both.
that way you could have a hurts dont collide poly.
