i really like this idea. I love the BR off of Halo 2. That was my fav. gun when i used to play.
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

Do you mean make a 3-round burst or how to mod at all?

lots of guns fit this description; the steyr itself, in fact, can be fitted with the three-round-burst setting (though it's not standard). the M16 (which can have a scope), as well as the L85A1 (which has a scope), the FAMAS (which has no scope, but can), and many submachineguns have a three-round-burst setting, as well as 30 (+ 1) rounds of ammo. recoil is not too bad on this setting normally, although the third bullet is normally wasted because it flies way over the target.

as for 'firing straight' and such, none of the guns in soldat fire straight enough, really, so that's kinda subjective. and this wouldn't need to be any less overpowered or underpowered because it's almost exactly like the aug anyway if it has 30 rounds (10 clicks)

i simply don't think this is necessary in soldat. after all, you can just do controlled bursts yourself. why make them underpowered?

M16A2, or G36.......Actually just do the M16A2 because it only has 3 round burst setting and semi automatic. The G36 has 3 modes. 3 round burst, automatic, semi auto.

I have a better idea:

MM should implement an option so we could change the weapon to be a shotgun-like reload(spas 12)
dual weapons(deagles) , 3 round burst , semi automatic , automatic and stabbing&throwing(knife) or must be fired from a crouching position

yes that would be awesome , but with one exception: if you can't use secondary weapons cuz this would be like a secondary weapon but only for a couple of weapons
