Knife is missing

This is a small but very annoying problem
I've noticed when i join a server, any server and the option for a combat knife is available i notice that:
 The combat knife is highlighted (as if it was clicked on) BUT when i choose my starting weapon and then switch to my knife it is not there.

This only happens to my first spawn...when i die and re-spawn (even if i dont click the combat knife button) the knife will be with me.

Anyone else experience this? i want some confirmation and not just hallucinations

This is a known bug that will be fixed in 1.4.1

All you can do is deal with it until 1.4.1 is released.

Yeah it happens to me too. I really didn't notice at first because I usually don't use it unless in specific servers. But recently I have been in situations where I am like: "I feel like knifing the first fool who comes within reach." only to realize that my knife is gone.

Well, actually u can do something. If you want the knife on your first respawn you have to click on it before selecting your primary weapon... I know, u usually forget, but i got used to it already and i always remember now, because i always use the knife, usually as the last thing i do before dying.

The same bug happens when u change team, or go to spectator and go back to play. It can be fized the same way.

And the other day I have a weird bug. Whatever weapon I chose i would respawn with the knife selected, and without primary weapon. I only saw that once. Yesterday i think.. but who cares.

Usually if you change team, or go to spectator and go back to play, the socom will be selected. This bug I find annoying because as a barrett user, the knife is my backup weapon. As PerroAZUL said, you just got to get used to selecting the knife before your primary.
