This could turn into an interesting thread.

EDIT: shit, the cathedral thing's going to take some time, what with the texture shading, finding new sceneries and shit like that. But it'll all be worth it in the end. :)

I like them but the roman thing... those trees don't fit.

Also, if you make every building in a map like that, you will have WAY too many polygons.
The first bridge will not work in a map. Second is really good.

Focus on the building! Actually, the trees was added there for kicks. In a map, I wouldn't use them.

Right, that's why we have sceneries and textures. There's no limits to the number of polygons, and the map could be a small, well-designed deathmatch.

Also a lot of verticies don't line up. It really makes a difference when trying to work on making modifications to your map if everything lines up so if you move a vert it wont mess up the map.

I really don't like the top bridge, especially if it's at 100%-zoom; it's too bland. I much prefer the ctf_B2b bridges. The house is amazing, tho'.

I can make it better. It's just a study, but if it's the poly structure and the visuals it provides, then let me try again.

What I did instead,(VTT beat me ><) was doing a simple replication of the Flat Zone stage from the great Super Smash Bros. Melee franchise.
