keys for mouse sensitivity
« on: May 23, 2007, 09:07:12 am »
heres my idea.
you press [ and ] for chaning mouse sensitivity in-game
so when you press [, your mouse sensitivity becomes -1
and when you press ], your mouse sensitivity becomes +1
*and i think we dont need percentage for mouse sensitivity
like not 100%, just 100

1. Why would anyone want to change mouse sensitivity in-game? It's just useless, set it up before playing.
2. [ and ] aren't in the same place for every keyboard.
3. What's the difference having porcentage or not? Anyway, if it's 0 to 100 it's more logical to have it as a porcentage.
4. I ask myself the same question as Clawbug.
5. EnEsCe behaved perfectly: this is CRAP.

I'd never use this, as I never change my sensitivity, but it's not a bad suggestion.  Couldn't be that difficult to implement, and I can see how it'd come in handy for some people.

PerroAZUL : i never say that the keys have to be [ and ], it's for people who change their mouse sensitivity. if they don't change their mouse sensitivity in-game, they don't know how fast or slow their sensitivity is. and you don't really know about it. it's not like balance things, or can be effected much. it just helps people to change their mouse sensitivity easy and comfortable. and most of FPS games has keys for mouse sensitivity for players.

I guess people people who go into a sniper position would possible want a more gentle sensitivity than rushers.

Here's an idea:

There is no "sensitivity" level.  Your mouse pointer is the aimer.. thing.  Move it slowly for less sensitivity, move it faster for more sensitivity.  christ..

I take it you've never seen the section in Options for adjusting mouse sensitivity?  How the hell do you people come up with such ridiculous objections?

Yeah that was pretty dumb...You don't really know what mouse sensitivity is do you?...

This would be usefull to test out a new sensitivity level. I found that in some games where you can't change it in-game I had to jump in and out to see what level I wanted.
I am but a figment of your imagination. You are creating me to see what perfection is.
