Its not worth the time to animate.
Just make a helicopter scenery image and stick it up high somewhere and put a spawnpoint there. Good enough?Scrap that actually, waste of time F11.
Hahahaha, zzzzzzzzzZING
How about. Take a helicopter/dragonfly/apple/pinata/cow scenery, and stick it high up in the air. Have the player spawn from that. Ta da!And no one even had to change anything.

If this was added to Soldat, it would ruin the game-play and remove the feeling of Soldat.

Oh joy, another one. It's already been said that there'll never be vehicles, so what's the point to this?
So, this isn't your usual SSHV (Soldat Should Have Vehicles) idea, something involving vechicles, but in slighty different way. I think if our gostek spawns high in the sky, he should jump off from a plane, or a helicopter (Or maybe even dragonfly xD), to make everything look more realistic. So, what do you think?
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.

Seriously, what are we, neanderthals who, if given anything even SLIGHTLY more advanced than pac-man are unable to play because of undue complication?Plus, that overused argument doesn't even apply here, it's not something that would destroy the ever-so-fragile 'simplicity' of Soldat, it's just a fricking eyecandy for ****ing out loud...*EDIT* And how the hell would it ruin the gameplay?Ehem...[/rant][ontopic]Not a bad idea, couldn't hurt.
