Ehm, first question to you: Do u have polyworks?
If not download it here
And then u can read some tutorials to handle it or you can ask me too, if u have any problems!

If you have polyworks then:
Sketch is a tool that lets you draw out a level design without actually making the map yet, its useful.
Depth map works with lights, I personally don't like the effect they make, and would advise you to manually shade your maps to start out, use them once you are good at general map making.

i got polyworks... yes, (i know how to shade! woohoo!) but when im trying to shade the mab... its looks soooo damn strange...

Get use to it and practise a lot...ALSO read some tutorials then u´ll be better...belive me ;)....Good luck for that!
