How do I run something modded in 1.4?

I've been trying to run Soldat AC after I went into the mod config and selected my weapons setup, but when I run it modded, it has all the normal Soldat weapons. I know it's kind of a n00b question, but I've just come back to soldat after a few months. Any help would be appreciated.

are you sure you checked the "Use Modified Weapons" box?!? :P

Yeah, it was checked. See, I'm trying to run it through Soldat Mod Starter, and the thing is, I get the mod's interface, indicator, etc, but not the gostek and weapons i picked.

After you select the weapons, make sure you hit "apply config"

Beyond that, I don't know.

This is a(nother) BAD thing on 1.4. I think it would work on 1.3.1. On 1.3.1 I had Special Ops mod that didn't have any effect on weapon strength, speed etc on 1.4. I think it's the same thing- semi- or even multiweaponned (mods that have several different weapons on one in Soldat) mods that have weapon data in folder, where the weapon is in Mods folder don't work.
Or at-least that's my opinion.....

Have the mod .exe in the soldat directory (not the mods folder) then choose weapons, hit the ''use modifyed weps'' then ''Apply'' And finally ''Play''

As for the WM. Ive noticed this too, theres probably sometype of change of location on the weapons.ini. No weapon stats changes but gfx and sfx work fine.

I'm gonna have to resurrect this.  I can't find a "Use Modified Weapons" box anywhere.  By the way, I'm using 1.4.1.

I've gotten it fixed.  I've figured out the issue, it's probably everyone else's too.  It's the fact that the Recoil stat is not in the old weapons.  Adding "Recoil=0" or whatever you want it to be to each of the weapons fixed all of the problems.
