im not a noob to gaming (im hardcore) but i am just starting to use mods. does anybody have any idea if this is a good game to start off modding with?

Yeah, Soldat is an excellent game to start off modding with. It doesn't really require you to get any special editing programmes and it's rather intuitive.

you can start doing your own guns with msn paint, i do my guns with that, click on the first link on my signature and you will se the results

At the start will be dificult

i was bored in school so i doodled some guns to think of. as a joke, do you guys think it will b funny to make a "sh1t" mod where the bullets look like sh1t? and also a mod where the guns shoot babies and also the grenades are babies? or is this to cruel?

I maked "thing"

similiar to this idea, shooting Hell-Spawn/Damned, explosive babies in my Beast mod, name was inspired by controversial shirts of some metal band, probably Cradle of Filth and movie "Unborn", actual is remake from my first mod ever.
Soldat modding is in common/mostly manual work, so you can do outline to yourself, helpful is just studying real pics of guns and make comparision and find enoug scale/generalise to Soldat gfx files at weapon-menu or just in-game.

you need do all yourself no exepcions, only you can take some colours...

the outline, a button?? what you say, you know whats ms Paint?

You can make gun in easier ways with of outlines, If you can make correct or rewsemble outline to real weapon, also you need known, what parts are inside, where are ends of that parts, and make additional outline (temporary color is black) inside, change them, when you fit with colors and shading that smaller cells, where color is similiar to end of actual cell. This is part-to-part shading, but you can just draw outline and fit all inside with correct shades, lights etc.

i didnt try pistol yet (i did the dagger b4 u posted ur response) but i made a *cool* double bladded dagger. care to see? how do i post my dagger here? is there an upload button?

how do i change my file to a file that is allowed?: txt, doc, pdf, jpg, gif, mpg, png, pms, zip, rar, mp3, sdm, ini, pas, wav. im doing it in bmp in ms paint

Save it as a .png using MS Paint. It will reduce the image size and not distort the image at all, and you'll be able to upload it.
