I'm an Alpha approaching Bravo base low on Laos, with a Bravo hovering directly above the tunnel exit point. He throws a nade full force straight down.

The nade richochets northwest against the wall above and slightly behind me, northeast against the ceiling of the tunnel exit, then southeast against the wall in front of me, and then straight southwest into my face for the kill. It took less than half a second for this to all transpire. It was like a crazy-ass trick shot in pool kind of thing.

Clearly a bug, but one of the coolest bugs i've ever seen in soldat. Both me and the guy that threw the nade were like wtf was that ****?!?!?! So happy that he happened to be demoing and shared the demo with me later, very entertaining stuff.

I dunno if anyone has any similarly amazing stories to share.. but if ya do, here it is... the Crazy Nade Bounces thread.

i find it funny when nades get stuck inside polys and go "trrrrrrrrrrrrr" and then come out with rediculous speed. Never seen crazy bounces tho. any possibility we could see the demo?

I once was guarding my FFC in a server with FF on. There was an enemy below us spraying like crazy so I chucked a nade down and it richochet off the ground and shot straight up past me and killed the FFC. I was laughing so hard I didn't realise I got vote kicked for being a TKer...

When I combat my enemy near the ceiling, I throw the grenade above him, so it bounces back on him. Same happens on lower ground - really funny stuff. It's heat seeking!

Sometimes when i throw a grenade, another grenade "slips" down and when I move forward- "You killed yourself!" :S This REALLY eats my nerves.

On bunker as red I love to throw nades into the ^ right below the blue flag and watch all the blue campers die from sudden nade-from-under overload.

Yea Its realy funney when nades go trrrrrrrr, and somethimes i have that i trow a nade on a point ^ and they fly of to someone's head

The gay nade lag really gets me sometimes...

I throw a nade in a completely different direction of where I am going, and the game freezes (lags) and when it unfreezes, BOOMM!!! "You killed yourself" o.O;

On vTT's trenchwar map, Battlefield, a bunch of bots were in a hole, under a bunker. I tried throwing a nade down in the hole, it missed, and bounced off the poly above the hole and did a perfect arc right back to my gonads. BOOM, Dead. -_-

Well...I don't have a crazy nade bouncing story, but I had an embaressing (misspelled) moment. But I once flew into an enemy base with four nades. I chucked them all and got a triple kill. I laughed and heckled them, grab the flag, and stepped on one of my grenades that didn't go off, and died. I didn't even get 6 ft away.

Another story [offtopic]
in TW... I think it was village I was in the house with reds and then suddenly a blue jumps out! I threw a grenade and shoot at the blue guy. I killed the blue guy with my gun.. But behind me my teammate tried to cover me and also threw a grenade, but he threw it at the door, so it bouced a little back. At the same time another blue jumped in and I tried to fall back, but my teammate's grenade exploded so I flew just into my grenade and killed myself (the blue got away unharmed [grrrr] ).[/offtopic]

yeah thats funny when it happens. but when my weapon is reloading i usually throw and nade near him and walk into it killing us both, possibily me and 2 others

What I love is when you throw a nade at an enemy and the nade bounces off a wall or something and just smashes you in the face... Good times.
