Not really. You can already modify the blood or remove it completely; were this added it'd be nothing more complicated than a minute's worth of MS paint on 'guts.bmp'.

Could you add bones so when ur soldier dies he doesnt just turn to a pile of mushey red goo like white bits poking out ?

You MIGHT (haven't tried it) be able to just add a white/grayish pixel on the end of the arms on the gostek. It would work if the body overlaps the arms, although it would look crappy otherwise.
