There were a lot of big architectural changes in version 1.4 so when it went public some nasty bugs were introduced that couldn`t be found with small testing.
I`m announcing a patch that will fix all these issues. If you have any serious problem with this version, please await the patch, it will be ready in a couple days.
Here are some of the problems that will be adressed:

- Fixed access violation errors when starting game (no need for compatibility mode)
- Fixed resolution change and minimap not working
- Fixed lobby error messages
- Fixed unicode fonts under Windows 98/SE
- Fixed no secondary on server join
- Fixed kicking on servers with disabled weapons
- Fixed flamer spamming and ban

In the meantime please try numerous solutions for the existing problems in this thread (read "Version 1.4 issues").

Never late, huh? =P

Flare nades = what the nades look like in 1.4.
For signatures, you are allowed only one image in your signature which may not be wider and taller than 300 and 125 pixels, and may not be over 20kB in file size. No BMPs are allowed.

14 dollars is reasonable... Ea's games cost like 40 and they effin suck compared to soldat... soldats gameplay rivals any game out.

Why do so many people whine about the bullets and the grenade trails? (Not just in this thread)

- No grenade trails: Disable Bullet Trails in Soldat config
- No "big" bullets: Delete all PNGs in the weapons-gfx folder

Soldat is worth way more than 14 bucks anyway. People complaining about the price need to realize this.
I'd rather buy Counter Strike Source or 2 copies of Counter Strike 1.6 since they don't have bad hit registeration and they are almost bug free :|

Maybe you all should see it as a DONATION and not as buying a complete game °_°
Soldat needs a few little things to be somewhat "final"
☻ Fix of general bugs like the crouch/reloadanimationgetstuck-bugs and maybe more accurate collision-detection and physics (f.e. nades which get stuck in a wall and then fly out of it at HIGH speed.)
☻ Ideal netcode (of course hit detection)
☻ Full weapon modability

A few more things for the presentation
☺ Second mode with doubled resolution of weapon/scenery/gostek-graphics (Yes people'd need to make new ones)
☺ More character customization
☺ Better character animations

Of course it'll be the last "major" update.  All the auto-updates will be minor updates. :P

Nah, I can guarantee small updates, and almost guarantee major updates as well.
