Well, I don't believe it would be THAT big project, there are alot of volunteers who would be willing to help.

Also, there are programs for increasing the picture's resolution, apply this to every gostek/scenery/gfx, then fix them by hand (it will look pretty gross if it is left untouched).

Also, there aren't public hacks available really. But the fact is, that eve by the first day, or even the first hours, there can be speed hackers, takes not really much time to write one. >_>

This probably means that either:
A: The minimap has been improved
B: More feature have been added for registered people (health bars above teammates, more interface moddability, etc.)
C: MM is just flat broke and needs the money.

no, he announced these second price changes a long time ago, there aren't any major new features or anything added to 1.4.1, but it does address most of the bugs that showed up in 1.4. The auto-update is the main "new" thing added, and then tons and tons of bug fixes

And tons and tons of bugs are added.
