The Lounge - now the Bash Pit is gone

Some of you have privately posed worries about how the Lounge will be now the Bash Pit is gone.

Ideally, I would like to see the Lounge to be more 'relaxed' than before, or how it was towards the end of the old forums. I'm sure you can find the fine line between right and wrong here in the Lounge.


Be a little silly, just don't post complete immature horse crap.
Make topics purely aimed at amusement rather than discussion, just not utterly pointless, uninteresting and sad.
Make posts with your attempts at wit, but not childish drivel for the sake of it.


May get a little rough if some people have a harder time adjusting to this change, but i'm sure our fine moderator and admin crew will be sure to show them the light.


 
There was some good in the Bash Pit, however rare. But we can have that here. Just not the bad that came with it, alwight? good.

but yeah people, I'll moderate this board more closely than I did the last forum for the last couple of weeks, but there'll be room for fun. nothing wrong with a little laugh now and then

I think the lounge should be moved up to near the top of the main page, so we don't have to scroll down so much. Isn't it like the most frequented portion of the forums?

Tsch. About half of the people that visit the forums regularly go to the Bash Pit to dish out complete stupidity on each other. That's what he's talking about. >_>

I also think that if the lounge is going to be spam free, then post count should increase here too.

All considerable options. Have to give a think through, see what people think and what the moderators and me fellow admin Bricks thinks.

Putting the lounge at the top though ...hmm. You realise it'll get quite a bit more attention from new comers up there. This can be a good thing and a bad thing depending on how it swings. Think about it.

I say keep it at the bottom, but make the forum desciptions smaller (which is going to be done, i know).

And yeah, maybe bringing back the post count in the lounge is an option.

I liked the lounge when it had a post count I think it seperates it a bit more than the bash pit
