multiple taunt lists

i was able to have multiple taunts list before (by making another profile), but it seems every profile uses the same taunts list at 1.4.

Is this a bug?

I would like to use multiple taunts list for different game mods. (with hexer rpg, infiltration, teammatch and ctf for example)

Hi,

You're probably using profiles. If you do then you need to find the appropriate taunts.txt in the Profiles folder.

it was that way at 1.3.1, but there is not taunts.txt anymore at 1.4

or should i just make one?

Yeah, that should work.
You can try the PHP Taunts.txt Maker I made on SoldatPage to make a new taunts.txt file.
Placing it in the right Profile folder or main Soldat folder should do the trick.

where do I have to paste it,
what do you mean by 'the right Profile folder' since there is only 1..

Uhm, can't remember the exact placing of the taunts.txt files but try putting PQ tm.txt as taunts file in that Profile folder.

k thx, can't test it right now, cause of AVG telling soldat to be a trojan..

You have to save the file in UTF-8. If the encoding is incorrect it automatically loads taunts.txt instead of your personalised txt files. Btw, it's a bit buggy sometimes even though you change profiles you have to restart soldat to make the correct taunts appear.
