Yes i know there is TW maps, yes im away of a subgamemode called TW, yes i have played it, and love it.

ok, now that thats out of the way..


mmmm maybe something like a REAL trench map not 2 bunkers some craters and a bridge

something along the lines of like 2 trenches, MGs, barbed wire and a no mans land..


(off-topic) maybe a mod to go with it =D

Personally, Im giving up TW, ill only CW on them. It mades the already 2d soldat, 1 dimensional. Its not really that great. The nice looking textures are the only thing good about it.

I love TW but I think it needs a weapons.ini of it's own.

As for this suggestion, you just gave me a great idea. I'll try to make a map that looks something like that.

I made a real trenchwar map long before TW sub gamemode apeared. Only downside was that i was and still ah behind a router. And i was nooby back then, i put some weird stuff on the background.

hell the game mode is called TRENCH wars all you have is 1 nice looking bunker and some bottomless pits..

go look up TW_Nomans or tw_gloryhill

Just some poly art to me.  I mean, look at it.  So much height elevation in the layout; it just screams bad gameplay.  It's a horrible example of what TW maps should be like.  Sorry.

I wish there was a really realistic (lol ;p) map for tw. I've been learning about trenchwarfare during WWI and made a sketch of a tw map based on it. Maybe some skilled mapmaker could be able to do it? :> Here's the picture of half of it, the other part should be something simillar but NOT identical:

And before you start asking - yes, they used tanks during world war one, but they didn't dominate battlefield because they often broke and were introduced in the late stage of the war. And yes, there were tunnels. Just make sure one of the ends looks like it caved-in.

Btw, artillery guns should shoot cluster nades really far at big speeds, the flag should be somewhere in front of bunker.

Yeah, I'll see what I can do. I'm working on another map too so it might take a bit. Can I edit it some? And do you want waypoints? But I'm getting ahead of myself...

Niko's map looks fine for TW map.
The problem is he self-advertises wayy too much.

TW today really means only that the map is linear and you (almost) can't get past your enemies without actually passing them.
