Re-read the post. I threw in the insult against you because I thought I could get away with it without my post being deleted, as the point of it lied elsewhere. I hardly care to be mature enough to avoid offending people on the internet, especially people like you. If anyone doesn't want to wade through this ignorant and uncoordinated cess pit of an argument, here are the main conclusions:

• Old Soldat Forums > New Soldat Forums.
• Many people now suddenly don't like camping carl.
• The moderators always win.
• Life sucks.

On one hand, I feel sorry for the newer moderators like †. They're just trying to do their job and their trying to keep this forum "clean" but on the other they should ease up a little on what should and what shouldn't be soldatforums material.

There's no question about it that the Soldatforums has gone down on quality and is these days totally spammed with shit topics in the lounge, the only forums that I really browse these days. The main cause is because we got rid of the bash pit, like I might have posted in it a couple of times, but by getting rid of it you've brought down the quality of topics/posts in the lounge; which is meant to be a place of civilised discussions or debates, something that it has failed to live up to over the past year or two.

I don't expect the Bash Pit to return at all, nor am I saying that the removal of the bash pit is the sole cause of recent shit posting but moderators should let more topics slide, like any topic that has anything to do with sex is locked and it does nothing. It doesn't protect the younger members of the forum's either because in a matter of years they're going to just learn more about sex through friends or the internet and it's not like what they would read in CC's thread would be something totally foreign. The old rules were no porn in the form of pictures or links, we should bring it back to that.

Also on another note, tough moderating is killing these forums, with more and more cooler members leaving. I am aware that people leave for perfectly normal reasons like studying or work or something, but if the forums were better, they would be more inclined to return more often and post more often. And with the decline of the better posters it causes more and more posters to leave, it's like a bloody domino effect. I know for sure once people like SAH, Karmazon, Captain Ben and Camping Carl leave these forums for good I too would be on my merry way.

You haven't noticed in the past two or three years?

I think we really do need the bash pit back. I think it's part of what the forums have become. Especially since a certain mod deletes posts for 'spam' which I personally think are some of the funniest posts. **** maturity, the forums are on a constant downward slope anyway.

Funny thing that, 'cos for the past month, the mods have been under strict orders to leave the lounge pretty much alone. Was worried that you fellas were too scared to post things. But then! Just recently! They all got together and agreed what a fucking mess of a forums you people have turned it into without their evil iron fists cleaning things up.

I do appologise that nothing of particular interest is here for most of you, and also appologise that when you talk shit because you're bored it gets locked - however easy it may be for anyone thats remotely interesting to provoke an interesting/humourous discussion to alleviate such boredom - and admire how you all band together for a 'serious' discussion whenever the mods lock one or two topics about, ooh I don't know, people who excrete teeth from their arse to aid their metaphysical abilities to tell the future, then as soon as it fades into obscurity go back to trolling around.

Face it kids. The bash pit ain't coming back, you all talk too much 'ooh-look-at-me-i'm-unique-and extroverted-because-I-talk-x-treme-bollocks' arsefluid for anyone with a sense of humour beyond 4chan/virginity to appreciate, and if you don't like it, leave.
