R/S KillLogs
« on: June 01, 2007, 03:35:12 pm »
I heard a couple of people mention bugged logfiles in 1.4, and I'm hoping this isn't what they were referring to, as I'll just be wasting my time here.

I recently started logging kills for the first time since I joined R/S, and I almost immediately noticed this rather ridiculous "feature". Naturally, at the end of a round, the remaining players die before the next round starts. These "after-round deaths" are recorded in the KillLogs as suicides. Why?

"After-round deaths" should not be recorded in the KillLogs, IMO, or if they are, they shouldn't be recorded as suicides.

Well, that is a situation which is left without attention, I think.

It is made that when someone commits a suicide, it is logged into file. Now, they are forced to suicide, that is logged into a file, by a mistake. It is not made for a purpose.

Well, that's why I put "feature" in quotes, because I also think it's something that was overlooked. :P
