all of the things like they're their there really annoy me when people get it wrong.

I can understand if you're lazy and want to type youre instead of you're, but please... don't type "your," it makes you look like you're a moron.

Capitalization Dr. Freeman? That matters too. Oh yeah!

to - I forget what this is. Yeah. Example: "I went to the store!"
too - Used to indicate an excess of something. Example: "There are too many noobs on Soldat!"
two - the number. In sentences, you spell numbers out unless they are longer than three syllables. Example: "There were two sprayers in the Bravo base."

Edited.

to - I forget what this is. Yeah. Example: "I went to the store!"
too - Err. Example: "There are too many noobs on Soldat!"
two - the number. In sentences, you spell numbers out unless they are longer than three(?) digits. Example: "There were two sprayers in the Bravo base."

I believe you use numerics if the number is more than three syllables.

Are you a teacher still?

I think people will eventually learn on their own that proper grammar and spelling are a necessity if you don't want to look like a moron. Everybody goes through a phase where they use "ur" and "y", and so on.

Hell, I used to capitalize the first letter of every word in my forum posts. (Hey Guys Look At What I Made In Paint Lol)

I don't mind this type of "shortening" words as long as one does it not so often.

"Wow u are the bomb dude u gotta make me sum!"

This, however, irritates me:

"i m da man u r da sux lol omfg how u do dat!?"

I'm still a teacher, I just forgot what "to" is. It's not an article, it's something else.

I'm, IM

I'm - contraction of "I am," example: "I'm going to kill you now."
IM - Abbreviation of Instant Message or Instant Messaging, example: "I'll IM you with the details."

I'll, Ill

I'll - contraction of "I will," example: "I'll play your clan later."
Ill - sick, example: "I can't play Soldat because I am ill."

I disagree with this. Unless it's in a formal context, I have no problems understanding why people choose to leave out the ', as the word doesn't change, or get a new meaning.

'To' is a preposition. More prepositions: "on", "under", "beneath", "along", "out", "into", "against", "before", etc.

It's just laziness, as is "u", "r", etc. It's the same word, and as long as it's readable, why should there be a problem?

I've noticed several grammatical errors in Nfsjunkie's posts that haven't been pointed out yet. But it's still readable, so why bother pointing them out?

Yay Yuk for finding my errors!

I'm, IM

I'm: contraction of 'I am', example: "I'm going to kill you now."
IM: Abbreviation of Instant Message or Instant Messaging, example: "I'll IM you with the details."

I'll, Ill

I'll: contraction of 'I will', example: "I'll play your clan later."
Ill: sick, example: "I can't play Soldat because I am ill."

'l8r' is not a word,  but 'later' is.

I may have missed a few mistakes, and format I did not care much for.

Yea, as long as its an informal message there’s nothing wrong with saying OMG as I don't expect people to write "Oh my god" every time, maybe unless its a forum post, but thats the internet. Now things that replace single words like "u", "r", "l8er", "m8" etc are just obscene signs of laziness that makes my respect for them drain away.

I know someone who on MSN writes with hardly any commas and uses excessive amounts of animated flashing word signs and emotions. So I’ve shook the grammar and anti-seizure stick at him. ::)

I hate ridiculous flashing emotions. I also hate when they make a flashy letter for EVERY LETTER IN THE ALPHABET. That really pisses me off. It's like ricing up your MSN. THE FLASHIER THE LETTER THE COOLER I MUST BE.
