I believe you use numerics if the number is more than three syllables.

I think people will eventually learn on their own that proper grammar and spelling are a necessity if you don't want to look like a moron. Everybody goes through a phase where they use "ur" and "y", and so on.

'To' is a preposition. More prepositions: "on", "under", "beneath", "along", "out", "into", "against", "before", etc.

Yea, as long as its an informal message there’s nothing wrong with saying OMG as I don't expect people to write "Oh my god" every time, maybe unless its a forum post, but thats the internet. Now things that replace single words like "u", "r", "l8er", "m8" etc are just obscene signs of laziness that makes my respect for them drain away.

I know someone who on MSN writes with hardly any commas and uses excessive amounts of animated flashing word signs and emotions. So I’ve shook the grammar and anti-seizure stick at him.
