STORY TIME! So, I came home one night a few weeks ago and discovered a couple mice running around my room. It's getting colder now that summer's over so they like to get inside houses and live. And they DO!
So, this one decided to make my room his home. And that was cool, because mice are pretty awesome. But then he started digging through my garbage and chewing on LOUD OBJECTS. So it has been keeping me awake for a long time. I conferred with the kind lads in #antisocial, and they advised me to use a humane trap..okay.

The latest victim

My garbage bag..RUINED.

So, I set the 'humane' trap. I cleverly placed bread dust (like little small croutons) over the plate that you set inside of the trap. I placed a little on the bottom in front of both sides of the plate so that if the mouse was able to eat them off the plate without setting it off, he would still want to WALK over it to get the crumbs on either side.

Doesn't look like I will be eating tonight

The bastard mouse managed to defy all odds and eat ALL (ALL) of the little croutons without so much as nudging the trap even a LITTLE. Not even the little pegs collapsed or anything. BULL FUCKING SHIT!

Looks like he will be joining his grandfather on the flawless sticky pads of doom.

P.S. and also bastard swear filter for censoring the fatherless-child word. What's up with that. Even the three stooges are regular users of said word!

Yeah I just noticed that Sadist..Maybe somebody is playing a trick on me, but the sticky button is an icon, not a checkbox, so there's nothing I'm doing. I'll have to talk with Bricks about that one.

And I had a cat, and it didn't work for me. But it was 25 years old, so I cut it some slack. Not getting another cat.

Oh, and by the way. The cat idea was the proposed solution for the mice at my grandparents' house. They never suspected they'd be stepping in piles of mouse guts the next day! Sticky pads are pretty cool, but then you hear squeaking all night.

hahahahaha, you win that one. But my room is too cluttered to spot guts so they would just start to smell really bad. I prefer sticky traps.

But that's not necessarily what I mean by 'mouse guts'. The cat at their house decapitates mice and leaves their entrails scattered across the floor. It's actually kind of badass, but that wouldn't work in my bedroom.

yeah, i had a cat who would eat birds and leave feathers all over the basement floor... but only the feathers. i used one of the feathers for the cover of a school project on native americans or something like that in 7th grade and the teacher thought it was so cool.

It happens randomly, I brought it up with Brick and he says it's a bug with the forum and that we have to live with it because he's too busy now to figure out the cause and how to fix it.
