TW Gloryhill v1.3

Description:The ultimate TW map originally made by Flying Dutchman.

1.0: (03.07.2006) screen Initial release by Flying Dutchman.

1.1: (05.01.2007) screen Waypointed, optimized polygon structure, normal healing points, proper scenery placement, etc...

1.2: (19.06.2007) screen Additional optimization of the map - reduced amount of polygons (630=>460), improved map structure, added colliders for team respawn bunkers, useless trench in front of them replaced with small tent to prevent spawnkilling, moved medkits and grenades spawn points, amount of medkits reduced to 2, improved shading and added some sceneries.

1.3: (27.09.2009) screen Contains additional enchantments in map structure, visuals and waypoints. Tent added in v1.2 replaced with small trench-like structure (from TW Nomans v1.0) that doesn't stop players however, second trench on bravo base removed completely, fixed random nade and med kits respawn, amount of medkits raised back to 4, and all spawns moved back where they were in v1.1.

Waypoints: Yes, for both teams.

Recommended Players: 8-14

this is the best war-like map i've seen!:-o
exellent job dude! i love the bunker in the middle

Good game play, maybe needs some more scenaries, and interesting stuff. Looks quite empty.

UPDATED 12-Aug-2010 FIXED LINKS!!!!! - 18 Apr 2007 - NOW WITH FULLLY MODDABLE MAP TEXTURES! Modders, further customise your soldat!

Hey man, thanks for improving it. ;) I'm sorry I've been so inactive last months. I'll try to get back into soldat again and finnish the TW map I started working on before I stopped playing soldat. Cheers.

Nice, looks like a very fun sniper map [well TW's are supposed to be sniper maps...].

Like it lots, and I am not surprised in the least to see that it is good map made by you :). *goes to download...

Map has been updated to v1.3.
New release contains some considerable changes and improvements in map structure, visuals and waypoints. Most visually noticeable change is that ugly tent added in v1.2 was replace by nice small trench/tent structure which is much better than both old trench and ugly tent. Removed useless second trench on bravo base. Map was optimized even more and now plays even better and lags even  less.
I hope it'll be updated on all major servers soon. (unlike Rage  :-X)
TW mappack contains latest versions of all my tw maps.

PS sometimes you may found "VTT TW testing server" at the lobby - join to test my latest tw maps and scripts :)
