 When I was takin' shower last yesterday I came up with an idea (I always have best ideas when takin' shower  ;D ) I remember that there was at least one topic about it - fire mods (ex. single fire etc.)

 So. There could be different .ini fragments for each fire mode. There would be line like "Fire mods:[...]" and there would be writen how many fire mods have 'that' weapon. With different .ini fragments there would be chane to make gun with grenade launcher etc.

 There could be also new .ini "function" - "Burst lenght=[...]" that would control how many bullets you can shoot with one "tiger" pull.

Here you have attached image that shows my idea.

Sweet, would make weapons.ini hella longer, but this is needed.

Imagine: Accurate UT and HL mods!

All weapons should default to firemodes=1 so that you wouldn't have to modify old mods too much.

This could be the breakthrough to see mods that make Soldat not even be... Soldat!

yeah, definately for it!

and what mxyzptlk said about the defaulting, should've been done with the recoil also.

But pafael, you could've atleastseparated teh fire modes so it would be easier to see. It took me a minute or so to figure it ou :D

This would be awesome having.
You could have a barrett that shoots three shots ever 5 seconds and a reload time of 10 seconds.
And fun things like that

I believe the steyr has automatic and single shot select fire too

Oh, modes. I was really confused for a second until I read Mangled*'s post! Ok, it's late X.x

I definitely support this! What do you suggest for the 'fire mode switch' button?

Edit: Maybe you should edit the title & first post with the correct spelling :P

Heh sorry ;D and PaFel (or PaFcio ;D)

Theres about 100 types of MP5, but yes, some of 'em have 3 shoot burst fire mode.

I believe the steyr has automatic and single shot select fire too

Steyr AUG has 2 "degree" (I don't don't know better word to explain that) tiger - when you pull it to half long it shoots one bullet and when you pull it to full lenght it fire with automatic fire.

All weapons should default to firemodes=1 so that you wouldn't have to modify old mods too much.

Old mods are already messed up with recoil so I don't think there couldn't be other options (like fire modes and burst lenght) included in .ini.

Hmm... I don't think this idea belong to "alternate weapon functions". (imo)
