All players and server admins are urged to update immediately to prevent the old BattlEye version to generate a lot of traffic (caused by a bug in the update system).
BattlEye anti-cheat has been fixed and is available for download. Your Soldat 1.4.1 should automatically detect this and open a download link for you. Unzip the file to your Soldat folder.

THIS IS FOR 1.4.1 ONLY

If the download link fails, here it is:

http://enesce.com/?page=downloads&f=30 (scan for viruses as usual with EXEs)

Also there is available a server patch. So attention server admins (this one does not auto-update!), the patch is here:
http://static.soldat.pl/downloads/BEserver.zip

Download it now and update your servers please.
Also please set a new BEBanTime default variable in server.ini:
BEBanTime=5

To find out your Soldat folder, right click your Soldat desktop icon.
Select properties. Read the folder in the "Target:" box.
Example: If it says: "D:\Games\Soldat\Soldat.exe", your Soldat folder is "D:\Games\Soldat".

Currently having a slight issue server-side;

(15:15:31) BattlEye Server: Could not connect to BE Master
(15:15:32) BattlEye Server: Update attempt failed

I'm not sure if this is something specific to the version of the server EnEsCe is running on our servers though.

Also, those of you running WindowsXP or higher without thirdparty zip utilities may have issues with the auto-update; just download the update manually in that case.

Yeah, the "Yes" button didn't do anything.

I installed the new BE files in the right folder, overwrote the old ones, and the little update screen still comes up.

I have to announce the following:

Due to traffic problems mentioned in the first post BattlEye will not be activated in the first days - the BE Server and BE Client will not be able to connect to the BE Master.
This is to reduce the number of old invalid update requests once the BE Master is online.

So please everyone, update your servers and clients as soon as possible!

See the post immediately above yours; due to problems with the previous version, it's staying offline for a bit to try to get the majority of people updated first; otherwise, due to bugs, the master server would basically be flooded off of the internet by the old versions, from what I can gather.

Well this is kinda off topic, but I don't think i need to make a topic about it.

The CreateBullet function, I know, says that it is full of bugs and will stop working on some operating systems, but I was wondering if it will ever be fixed so that it works on every system. Being able to only spawn 4 projectiles before it stops working isn't too fun $:-\$

Unzip to your Soldat folder. If your folder is c:\soldat, unzip it there.
