new to mapping..help plz

hey im new to mapping and i just got the sooldat polygon map maker and i was wonder what are the dimensions in pixels that would be good for a general ctf map?

it does not matter, wtf is a soldat polygon mapmaker? anyway get *polyworks* instead of polygon mapmaker

and if you have problems with tools, multitexturing or understanding smth whatsoever read this tutorial

Dimensions?  In Pixels?  Who in the world would measure their maps in pixels?!

It does not matter, for the most part.  Unless you are trying to submit a map for some 32-slot server, don't make maps that are, in your perspective, humongous.

Ontopic:  If you want a reference for a good general size, look at maps like viet and nuubia.
