Eh, playing in dodgeball servers wont increase your potency with the knife in my opinion.
The weapon .ini varies way to much to compare the velocity to a normal knife.
Alls you gotta do is practice kids.

I agree, and disagree.

Of course, having the knife travel at a greater velocity in dodgeball games, means that your accuracy with the knife may not improve in a server that has a standard knife.
However, there is another part of the equation, which is timing. The timing remains the same, and is crucial to a good throw. If you're a die-hard knifer, I'd recommend sticking to the normal servers for your practice, but you may still improve by practicing in dodgeball servers.

The knife is not only a great and hard-to-master weapon but it's stylish too.
In a way I always admire knife kills (even it's me who's dying [or killing])

Ohhh yeah that sucks. Like when your sprinting to away from your target and then pull out the knife and throw and because of the soldat physics it hits them...and then they dont die.

My usual response is 'Oh, you've got to be ****ting me!'.

But while knife kills are always good to watch i like the sawers who somehow manage to get more speed then a bullet. Like they run run run, jump, prone, jet, saw, stand, land.

Eh..I'm pretty good with a knife but I've recently turned pro on the db servers. It's just easier on there, In my opinion.

Yeah, i am in love with the knife.  someone said i was noob for using it, untill i hit him from a screen away with it. ive been using the knife almsot my entire soldat career, (more specifclly after i seen knifeaholics one day and was like, ZOMG I WANNT BE KKEEEWWLLZ). i remember when 1.3.1 first came out, and everyone said the knife SUCKS, dont use it, i still did, and i got good with it fast. i used to be one of the only people in pubs that would kill with a knife, cause everyone hated the charge up time, but i think it has ballance it just perfect, and give you that feeling of suspence while your charging it and someone is shooting you. like OMG AM I GONNA GET IT OFF? and when you do and pwn them, <3333.  I personally hit a record for distance today at 81 meters, (check in soldat moments for a screen shot ). up close knifes are not too hard, but when you get  awesome with it like i aim (not bragging too much ) its a force to be reckoned with.  And as for medium to long distance knifes, not all of it is luck, after a while you end up being able to just "Know" if its gonna hit, and "Float" it onto thier heads.

lol M79 is a noob wep, I hate ppl who use it. Still, who WOULD actually consider a knife a noob wep? IT's a HARD weapon to master, hard to actually get the kill off, and just makes the good last resort wep, like when ure reloading a barret and gettign attacked, chunk it at them and there's a kill, go pick it back up and it's ure's agin, I recently gotta multi X2 on U13 servers using a knife and barret.

You try dodging a one-hit kill weapon at close range. You say we suck if we can't dodge it, but it's impossible to dodge it at close range. Go ahead and try. Then, come back here and complain about it, and see what happens. -_- Obviously, no one uses at long range, so don't give me that "it's hard to use at long range" bullshit, eithier.

Yeah I'm getting fed up of seeing people say "ohhh if you can't dodge the m79 you're too slow/noob/whatever."

You can only dodge the shots from further away. If they're less than half a screen away, all you have is instinct and anticipation, which don't account for any bad aiming your opponent might have. I often try to backflip or dive forward to avoid a shot, and end up ploughing straight into it instead.. OMG I'm a freakin noob and I'm too slow.
