BTL EYE violation *i have extracted BE into soldat*

Whats going on, i am having the same problem as others but i have extracted BE into c:/soldat, can anyone help me

Maybe your directory is not c:\soldat.

To find out your Soldat folder, right click your Soldat desktop icon.
Select properties. Read the folder in the "Target:" box.
Example: If it says: "D:\Games\Soldat\Soldat.exe", your Soldat folder is "D:\Games\Soldat".

I manually put my Battle Eye into my folder in C:\Soldat\BattleEye and even put the version .txt file in there too, but I still get kicked from servers for no reason.

the version.txt doesn't belong to BattleEye folder. Use the installer that chrisgbk made.

Yes, the version.txt must go in the main soldat folder to overwrite the one that is already in there. Otherwise Soldat doesn't know that BattlEye has been updated.

the last 2 comments helped me, i did'nt know the version text must go in the soldat folder, its confusing cause the version text comes in Battle eye

Well, the version.txt doesnt cause the ingame BE violation though.

i just need to say that i'm an idiot.  i've been having problems with the update, and i couldnt figure out why.  it turns out i didn't even run the installer, i just downloaded the file. :/
