A question for all of you.

I know what the answer will probably be, but I'll go out on a ledge...

I personally, am one of those people who can do well in soldat with almost any gun.    ('cept barret and m79).  Are you like me, or are you only good with one gun, and terrible woth all others?

My strategy: Pick a gun to fit the scenario you're in, not the other way around.



Unless there's a map with obvious reasons to use a certain weap, like the spas or mp5 in Arena2, I usually prefer the Aug though, but that isn't the point...

I use all weapons fairly well I think, but I'm best with AUG probably.

That's how I am off too, creepy.   (Cept for the barret part, I used the Deagles and mp5 in the beginng).

I pride myself on being able to use every weapon comfortably, yes. I still use the MP5 most. I find it useful in most situations.

Yes, I generally use all weapons, but I find myself choosing AK and Ruger (with much use of the USSOCOM) most.

Im partial to using the Spas for most scenarios, usually if Im facing alot of campers Ill switch to the Steyr.  Knife has been my trusty sidekick for a while but I was partial to the saw.  Only on low ping servers will I bring the saw out cause I was tired of unregistered hits.
If Im playing R/S, I use an Steyr/Law combo.  Generally after I fire off the Law, Ill toss it to gather a slain soldat's weapon.

I use ALL weapons to a decent extent. All of them. Even minigun...

Oh wait, I'm not really good with spas. I can't see the bullets. Lol.

I always start out with mp5 and knife. (in wide maps like Run I start out with barret, but not always). Immediatly, I change to knife. I keep it until I face an enemy, and I toss it at him. If it hits, I pick up his weapon. If not, I finish him off with my mp5.

After getting his weapon, I switch back to mp5. Next enemy, I waste a whole clip of the mp5 as fast as possible, then finish of with the secondary I picked up.

If the weapon I pick up is m79 or barret, I use it before mp5.

I usually end up with an mp5 and an m79.

I realy use anything else than the FN Minimi and Knife, although somtimes I might play around with the barret or spaz.

All other weapons: I can do ok after picking up someone elses gun, but im not great at them.

In regular games, i tend to use Barrett and M79 with a soccom the most(but i wont say no to some saw'n ), But if im either in a clanwar or practicing for one, ill definatly use Spas and AK-74 with a knife.

EDIT: I can use all the weapons (especially those many days using minigun..) but i tend to specialise in only 3 or 4 (spas, ak, deagles, knife)

Im not really a "match situation with weapon" because i prefer to be able to adapt my gameplay to that situation with the weapon i have chosen (e.g. using spas on ctf_run)

Imo the barret/socom is best choice. barret is easy to kill if no1 spraying at u so u wount bink and if some1 does or u miss socom has great pwoer if u are fast and like u jump next to him and hs - hs - hs...dead :O

My favourite weapon is Cable internet connection. I use it all the time to beat people with superior ping and shots that actually register.

I started off with the m79. then after a while it got a bit boring,
so I tried out the autos, and didn't like them much. So I eventually settled down with the Spas. The Spas is still my favourite primary, but having spent some time with all the other weapons, I have no trouble switching to an auto, usually Aug, or the barret if I'm joining in with a server full of 1-hit killers. -.- I'm still learning to use deagles.. I've found the deagles to be the hardest of all to get comfy with, probably due to spending so much time with the arc of the Spas. And finally, I always used the law in the beginning. I thought the knife was crap when I first used it... how wrong was I? I'll whip out the saw every once in a while, but the knife is definitely my favourite weapon. Cue siggy

One gun adapted to one map for me.
Desert Eagles on Run and Snakebite for example, combined with Law.
Ak and Ussocom for the others except B2b where I use M79/Knife.
But I can't say I have a good level, I just take fun.
