Ingame Server List
« on: June 20, 2007, 06:50:58 am »
there should be a mod where u can hit a command and it will bring up ur servers that u have saved in ur favorites like for example

in game type /servers

would come up as

1.) U13.net 30080
2.) u13.net 23073
3.) u13.net 30009
4.) u13.net 30069
5.) u13.net 23076

and u would simply type /!2

then it would take u directly to The U13 CTF Pub

instead of hitting exit gotta reload all the servers perhaps mis a chance to get into server

then find it click join wat for to load

when u can simply do it in game

You don't need to reload all servers from lobby if you have them in your favourites in Join Game -section.

I don't really see much advantage in this but anyway nice idea but I'd say F11

F12. We shouldn't have to buy a new computer in order for this to work when it's a freeware game. I also have a slow comp. (Due to overload of stuff)

This could work, but i can see some problems with it already.

What if the server is full? If you need to download something? I dont think other people would like it if a lot of random servers keep sending in crippling amounts of data to their server just because some of the people in their server are trying to 'quick-join' other servers. This sounds like it can reduce server performance all over the place!

Nothing is totally free. If your system performance is low, try using CCleaner, Ad-Aware, and O&O Defrag 2000 Free. Delete stuff that you dont need period, or move it onto a disk, floppy, flash drive, etc.

This is a bad idea. As Mikeman said you can have a list of favourites in the menu. If your pc takes a while to get to the menu... well i don't actually believe that.

We shouldn't have to buy a new computer in order for this to work when it's a freeware game.

The fact that the game is free doesn't mean that the game should work on any ****ty computer. It only means that you don't have to pay for the game... LOL

For this idea to be implemented, Soldat would probably be required to leave the current server and try to join the server you want, which will save you no time at all, as it will most likely still lag for you.

And it's just for you, one person who is annoyed at the time between clicking leave and ending up in the main menu. No one else is going to use that command, since it will probably calculate to more time wasted than less.
