help request.

I've made a few mods, well i wouldn't call them mods (I just messed with the weapons text file) But when i play soldat with my new modded weapons it plays them, but then comes up with an error and quits me out of soldat. And im forced to reinstall soldat to defau;t settings. I would like to know how i can avoid this problem. It says in the text file that i shouldn't fully change it, what program or what can i do to change it fully and not have any repricuscions.

I can't remember the error, sorry.

How old are the mods? If they're before v1.4 you need to add a Recoil=0 line to each of them.

No acctually my moding computer runs off 1.3.1, i never plan to release them, but im getting an error at radom intervals, for example t made the minigun fire spas shots, and as soon as i selected the mingun and fired once i got an error. and soldat shut down... So yeah.
