Aspire towards something.  I used to have **** friends that I lost interest in talking with, too.  I couldn't relate to my girlfriend either, and I was bored all the time.  I realized my friends sucked because we didn't have similar interests or ambitions, so I isolated my own and worked towards them.

Some of my biggest interests are folk music, ancient history, and anthropology.  So I started associating myself with the Irish session community, the Irish pub scene in Minneapolis, and I've joined several organizations here in the twin cities.  Every Wednesday I play in an Irish session with people from all over the world.  I just got back from an Irish session this weekend.  Half the people that showed up were right from Dublin and we played a lot of stuff together on the Uilleann pipes and had lots of alcohol in less-than-modest quantities.

As for aspirations, well, there's always some place that I want to go, and there's nothing that tickles my fancy more than the prospect of meeting new people in foreign cultures that have plenty of experience in what I'm most interested in!  So in 9 days from now I'll be going to Norway, then Svalbard, then Sweden, hostel-hopping from place to place (For almost 2 entire months, mind you!  Lots of fun to be had when you've got a lot of time to do it.)  And god damn, the thought of hostels makes me pretty damn hard too.  There is lots of fun to be had in the hostel-hopping communities, especially when it's international hostel-hopping!!!  The people who put just an hours work a day for free board, those are the most fun to meet.  'Cos they spend extended periods of time just traveling around the world and finding ways to do it cheap.

Hell yeah.  The only thing I looked forward to two years ago was coming on IRC to play blockland with MilkmanDan or my next clanwar in Soldat.  Now everything I do seems like an exciting countdown to these events.  I haven't been bored in ages.  And every time I do feel bored, it's when I'm doing something that I used to find amusing - because it was, relative to any other excitement I'd get back then.

I'm getting a mother****ing Hardanger fiddle in Norway, *****es.  Then I can play Norsk folk sessions when I get back to Minnesota.

Edit:  some replies by Xxypher and Not Not Muldritch deleted.  Someone is bound to say "Kill yourself" eventually, so it's best I leave that original one there.  Quit arguing you cock***s.

Ah, the strenuous life of a teen.  He must learn that his friends are boring, his parents aren't always right, and that while vaginas practically grow on trees, some seem to have dried up and begun growing...things.

Some people say the cure lies within: the great Finding Yourself and the Getting in Touch With Your Hormonal Cycles.  But then people will say anything.  The real cure, perhaps, is a year or two of awkward behavior and wondering if it all really "matters" while substituting the harsh truths of reality with a drug-induced stupor that even a toxicologist might look at and say, "Hot Damn!"

If you don't have the feeling to kill yourself, you're at the bottom of the pit now. The only direction you can go is up. Climb up, socialize, and talk to you gf about your differences, since that will be a problem in the future were you to be married.

If you realize this is a problem to you and you know that it isn't normal, why don't you try to remedy it?

Yet another boring topic about the problems of someone's life. Do you honestly think a bunch of sweaty nerds on some forum can even begin to solve your insecurities?

Please. Here - have some attention.

Almost everybody have these phases in their lives. Some of them don't even notice them and just say they had a weird day. Now you're prolly thinking about why do you even live, why does it all matter and other stuff like that...

I know the cure! Go watch some porn and start jolly fapping. While you're at it your problems will dissapear, atleast for a short time. Even better than pot

And what would you do with acid? Drink it? You probably wouldn't die and it would cause tremendeous pain.
I also had some "emo" like stages in my short 15 year old life, but I never even considered to cause pain to myself. I wanted to solve those things that bugged me. Eventually you will find something to grab onto during these emo teen phases

not in a porn mood

current agenda:

1. dump girlfriend
2. only take interest in girls that seem like they could change me
3. figure out who my actual friends are
4. stop pretending to like anyone or anything and actually make decisions
5. find something that i can build my life around

Sigh...time to be serious, I suppose.

I was joking about the drug bit.  It's just a typical teen course of action to look to drugs to solve problems.  They don't, in case you're asking, and often have more substantial and long-lasting detrimental effects if you use them any other way than recreationally.  Though, to be frank, if you're going to disregard my warnings and make a choice between drugs, stick with a relatively harmless one like pot instead of acid or alcohol or, better yet, PM me so I can steer you clear of some bad choices.

The most important thing to remember, above all else, is that we have sh*tty points in our lives that pass.  It feels like your will and drive are being sucked away at the moment, but remember that these things allow for some serious introspection and make anything afterwards seem that much more fulfilling (mostly because you sit there and think, "Damn, I made it through all of that, there's no way I'm not enjoying the rest of my life").

In the end, the best you can do is to find people and stick close to them -- even if you don't particularly enjoy their idea of a good conversation.  Just find people, preferably ones that are good influences on you (because if there's any time that you're going to change your personality, it's going to happen now), and make sure you aren't lonely.

WOW... You're better then pot or booze... You must be a popular guy XD

Oh and btw, I found that talking to people about stuff like this usually doesn't turn out the answers you want to hear, i suggest writing out an agenda like you did but wirte up all of your problems and then next to each one write 3 soulutions for each one.  I found that's kinda helpful

Lol, internets.

Taking pot does solve problems. I'd suggest it.

Some people say it's addictive but it's not, that's if you're not weak. And like Vijtchi said it's harmless.
