I'm creating this list now. As of right now, these things are in no particular order, just in the order that I'm finding them.

Alert/notify via PM (just like e-mail) option
~~Track down and fix the "can't create poll" problem~~ done.
~~Add a front page to the forums~~ done.
~~Add a "mark all read" button~~ done.
~~Test upgrading to the newest branch of SMF, see what it breaks~~ too much
~~Add "Soldat" to the dictionary~~ done.
Store the "don't use smilies" option
Make "Additional Options" always be expanded by default, maybe just in forums where it is likely to be used
~~find out where the bug is that occasionally corrupts unicode characters in displaynames (replaces it with the html entity)~~ done.
Find the bug in the news display that is making the forums invalid XHTML
~~Increase the upload size limits once on the new server~~ done.
Add support for soldat:// and irc:// links, maybe even just as [soldat] and [irc] tags
Have editing a post bump it on the AT page, hopefully as an option so that it can be disabled if it is abused
Make graphs of nifty soldat forums stats that show trends over time
~~Make the AT page use less queries~~ done.
Related to the one above, the cell padding on all the description cells on the board index could be greatly reduced to make the page smaller
~~when there is a new PM, the link turns red~~ done
Find all posts by this member
Have there be browse boxes for each post up to the full number of attachments
Personal profile
~~Increase attachment limits~~ Done.
~~Add a view link for image attachments, so that people can view the full image instead of just download it.~~ done

I am not really running 1.0.2, I am running a version that I want to keep hidden so that people trying to do harm to the SF can't.

It doesn't happen often, but there is a bug that sends you to the U13 page when you post. Has that been fixed?

I have a feeling that only happens when I'm moving the SF between servers, or otherwise messing with the webserver config and breaking things

you are allowed to upload more than 2 attachments, you just can't upload more than 2 at once. You can add 2 at a time up until whatever I have the attachment limit set to

I probably just didn't notice it.

Also, maybe you can add an option to add someone to a list of contacts.Â You can configure this in the personal message option, where it says who to specificy to block a user, there's another box, below it, that allows to add someone to your list of contacts.Â When you send a personal message, where it says the name to send the message to, there will be a scroll-down and says users on your list to send a message to.

Changing the main Soldat Forums logo according to a certain holiday or season. I reckon it was changed before, but during the winter that action somehow slipped. Well I guess it is not as relevant as adding and then removing karma from this place, but psychologically it would just show that the admins/mods keep themselves up to date with events e.g. holidays.

The main one I agree with you on is the stars. Feel free to make some new ones and I'll see how they look and decide whether or not to use them.

I don't really feel like making the link for quotes any different. That is the link style used for quotes is the main link style used on the whole forum... it would probably be a pain in the ass to change that one to be underlined always and change the color.

Do you dislike all of the links on the forums or just the quote links?

I'll talk to EH about making making the background color of text boxes slightly off-white

edit: I just crossed out a bunch of stuff in the to-do list.

There is "done" next to "Add "Soldat" to the dictionary", but task itself isn't crossed out. Also it doesn't seem to work for me at all

It means I put 'done' next to the wrong thing by accident while I was editing the post

BTW is the little icon gone that indicates if a person is online or am I just blind? I found it useful when posting stuff and knowing that there is a big chance the other person sees it and can respond while you're online.

Edit: nvm I just saw it, however, the icons look almost identical other than the other having a light yellowish blob.
