Test 4 "Turbo" Again, after closing/restarting Firefox.

Experienced "Your last post was 30 seconds ago" One time so far. Twice now.

It is obvious that FasterFox's changes take place only when throttling down. Setting the rate higher requires a restart.

Higher settings cause more issues with the forums than lower ones do.

anything you want, but turn off the "Enhanced Prefetching" mode, as that puts an extra load on webservers and downloads pages you may not even go to.

The "turbo mode" sends many requests to the forums at once, with causes issues with the forums thinking that you're posting the same post more than once.

no lapis, its the prefetching, unless the turbo mode enables the prefetching... then yes, what Lapis said

... but it isn't the pipelining/multiple request thing, the prefetching is separate from that

The prefetching goes and gets pages that you haven't seen yet, and that can confuse the webserver.

Prefetching isn't enabled, by default, in the "turbo" mode.

then I stand by what I said, that it is the prefetching that causes the problem, not turbo mode

Yeah, but I've never had prefetching enabled..

.. so how can it cause the problem?
