Soldat freezing mid game.

It doesn't matter what type of game, (LAN, Net, local) and it can be at any time, sometimes right at the start sometimes in the middle or the end, sometimes i can even finish a whole game. Usually the game just freezes, the computer itself still responds, but soldat wont, sometimes the music freezes first, and the game will last untill i try to exit. Either way when it happens i cant normally alt-tab or ctrl-alt-dlt, soldat just wont allow anything to apear over top of it.

Also as a solution, you can try video compatibilty in the setup or you can alt + tab when Soldat freezes.  It tends to works but it is annoying to have to do it everytime it freezes.

Like i said, when soldat freezes i cannot alt-tab or ctrl-alt-dlt, the game will not allow any other windows  to show up in front of it, every now and then i maybe lucky to get task manager to show. Keyboard interrupts still work so the computer still responds, just not the game. I did try video compatibility, i cant remember exactly what happened, but it didn't help

Try running it in certain sizes like full screen or window mode.  See if that can work.
