Flag not returning bug

Since 1.4.1 I've come across a rather annoying bug where flag returns made by my player are not being registered with sound or text announcement. I believe the return is being acknowledged when the final scores come up, but I cannot be sure. Is there a command for returning player kills during the game? I can check the behaviour next time it happens.

I have also noticed it happen once with another player on my team a couple times. When they return the flag there was no sound announcement, no big "Alpha team scores", but it does sometimes print the small text acknowledgement "foobar for alpha team" in message history.

Yeah that's happened to me numerous times even before 1.4. Mostly on laggy servers :/
I don't think it's a bug, just a bad aspect of lag.

Yes it probably isn't a bug restricted to 1.4.1. I was essentially new to Soldat in 1.4.0, so I probably didn't return the flag often enough to notice it.

I don't think it's a bug, just a bad aspect of lag.

Although it is annoying, it isn't that much of a problem because it still registers and you can just check by looking at the caps/points.

I get it the other way around. You get the announcement and everything, but no points get added to your score for the capture.

It's packet loss. Unless you encounter this at specific situations.
