Yes... Finnaly, it is released, the one, the only, Ctf_LaosV2! All the information can be found on the overview. It is a basic continuation to Laos. This is the 2nd, of my Default Continuations Map Pack. I'm thinking about redoing one more map [The first was Viet2]. I also added a unique shading technique at the bottom path. I also wanted it too look a bit diffrent, so I added that "Isle" scenery at the bottom [Thnx to whoever made that scenery, I dont know who :( ]. I also added "Circle Polys" at 3 spots, because the spot looked empty to me, and I could not think of something to put. I decided to also change the middle and make it more interesting, by adding a bidge with preety cool spikes.

why are you doing this to people man? Cant you get an imagination and make something original? This map is worse than the original laos because:

A: everybody loves the original

B: why nobody makes remakes of laos, because only a dumb nut would perverse a map with such a rank

C: the skills used to make this map are level: newb.

How to fix this? Get an imagination, make the lower tunnel smaller, make less spray space, maybe make the edge polygons less tight, like in ctf_Nuubia, dont use support.bmp

in response to:
A. Vig's opinion. its not bad, but I dont love it.

B. your logic behind this is...? you complain about him not being original, lol, but if nobody has done laos then wouldnt a remake be an original thing to do? ::)

C. dude, what did you say? lol, that barely made sense, but I think I got the gist of what youre trying to say.

basically, doesnt look bad. I like it. waypoints would be appreciated, but its not like time will stop without them. just shrink the middle of the bottom path a bit more, not length-wise, but like its too open, in my opinion. the bridge above the spike pit is a nice touch, and the whole bit in your random screenshot #3 is nicely done.

I always kinda found it funny how the Soldat laos never looked like the real-life Laos. ;)
lol siggeh deleted for the 7th time! that's like a new record or something, ain't it?

He's the one who made the map. He told me if I could post it for him because he is banned for 30 days so yeah, here it is.

I was mean in my first. It's not that this map is that bad, it's that Laos is teh last map that needs to be remade. Now Death, thats a map that's been through two versions, and is still deeply flawed.

Any way SoulSnipa made a great remake of Laos a while back.
