Weapons Mod doesn't work.

Well, I have my server up and running, people can join and such, but I can't seem to put my weapons mod into my server. I've saved it in my soldat folder, made a new copy and renamed it and pressed /loadmod and all that but nothing is working! Can anyone help me get my weapon mod to work on my game?

First off, it's /loadwep foobar - that command would load the weapon data from foobar.ini.

Make sure your weapons mod isn't from 1.3.1 or older versions.
If so, you need to add Recoil=0 after the MovementAcc line for every weapon, in the .ini file.

Also, make sure you saved the .ini file in ANSI format, and not UTF-8 or Unicode ;).

You're not supposed to include the file extension.

You are writing the actual name of the .ini file when you do /loadwep, riiight?

Anyhow, could you paste the contents of your weapons mod ini here, preferably within code tags?

First off, several of your values in that mod are way too big and kind of borks the entire mod loading (the socom's damage, for example).

You also need to add an info section at the top of it all:


[Info]
Name=A name
Version=A version


So decrease the socom damage quite heavily (9999 works just fine) and add that and it should work just fine (did for me). Even though I'm afraid there's a bunch of other weapon settings that won't work as intended once you've actually loaded it.
