Do you own vinyls?

A moment ago I was wondering if I'm not the only one who collects vinyl format music. If you collect or have own vinyls, please post to this topic.

I have been collecting vinyls less than a year, but I've become pretty addicted to it (and yes, I DO have a vinyl player, d00d). So, overall, I'm just an amateur with these things, but I do know the difference between originals and remastered ones.

So far I've collected:


Iron Maiden - Killers "12 (1981)
Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? "12 (1986)
Metallica - Kill 'em All "12 (1983)
Metallica - ...And Justice for All "12 (1988)


PS: I also have Finnish vinyls, but I don't think they're worth posting here.

PPS: I live in a little town (population 11 000), and the closest place I can find vinyls is really located over 100km from where I live, which explains why I haven't been really making any progress here.

7" split with magrudergrind/the jefferson plane crash/Sevent Gate (other bands, but I didn't get it for them)

Sunn O))) - Black One 12"
Throbbing Gristle - Grief 12"
Lurker of Chalice - s/t 12"

I buy what I like, and most of the stuff I like is hard to find (or expensive, and I dont feel like wasting the money).

Well, any of those vinyls you wrote about aren't ringing any bells. I suppose they're techno/house/R&B ?

My dad owns virtually every single piece of rock and roll music from the 60's-80's.

He's got stuff like Three Dog Night, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc.

He even gave some to me because he's got copies for some of them. I was overwhelmed when I saw how much records he had.

I have a box full of vinils because my parents as a vinil player and wen it was populer they where bying vinils and we have more then everyone here I think

Some guy gave me Van Halens 1984. So yeh, I have one. But I do have a player, so at least I can listen to it.

My dad has got a lot of vinyls from 80s. Stuff like, 4 first albums of Iron Maiden, 6 albums of Judas priest, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne etc.. Finnish vinyls too ofc. Might make him check through the whole collection. Note that he has bought them all when they were brand new in stores (at eighties).

Used to have 30+ but i used them as frisbees when I was 8yr...Tho i have no clue what was on them. Maybe it's for the best :P

i had a lot of led zeppelin and pink floyd vinyls but i have no idea what happened to them.  not any metal crap though.

I have "Pink Floyd - The wall" and "Nirvana - Nevermind". I used to have a whole box full of'em, but my mom threw'em out when I moved to my dad's.

I really hated her for that..

Aw man... i listend to ummagumma on a vinyl a few years ago and it was kick ass.... muuuuuch better than on the computer or a CD.  Pink floyd kicks ass on vinyls
